API

WebXR

The WebXR API enables developers to create VR and AR experiences for the web. XR (extended reality) unifies augmented reality and virtual reality into a single API that works across supported devices.

Babylon.js supports WebXR with both WebGL and, experimentally, WebGPU. WebGPU-backed XR has additional setup and browser requirements; see WebGPU in WebXR before selecting a rendering engine.
